PNM Support? #71

Writing to ask if it's possible to add PNM support (PBM, PGM, and PPM). The file formats themselves are incredibly simple (simpler than BMPs), and I'd be happy to write the parser myself. Before I do, though, I wanted to check and see if @artemsen you thought this was in scope.
