You will need to select the theme too. Find display settings in the CiviCRM admin menus
Duh! Of course, thanks!
Unfortunately, on Joomla, the theme interfers with the CMS menu, making it invisible:
The all black and blue border on top is the Joomla menu which otherwise looks like this:
There was the same issue with the Mosaico extension a couple of years ago.
It would be nice if this could be fixed, I can't really use this otherwise. Anything I can do to help?
Ah yes. Joomla!
I've not tested in Joomla, but a friend has and told me it's not good in Joomla. I don't know whether that menu is the only issue? If so, it's probably easily fixable.
I'd suggest that you test other pages and see if they work; it might be that lots doesn't work!
Do you want me do add more such Joomla items in this issue, and perhaps change its name. Or should I close this and create another one?
@thoni56 maybe it would be most helpful to make a list of stuff that doesn't work in Joomla in the main description on this issue (rather than making many separate issues). And then change the title to "Joomla support" or such.
Thanks.
After discussion and solution of the initial issue, it was decided to make a list of Joomla issues in this first comment for easy reference. Please comment if you find further issues so they can be condensed and added to this list.
Thank you very much for this nice theme! It's nice to have a new look while waiting for Shoreditch, if it ever will be official and support Joomla, which is what we run.
I installed the Aah extension in our development site and it worked fine, and I really wanted it for our live site too. So to be sure I cloned our live site to get an up-to-date copy and re-did the installation using
cv dl
.This time how ever, the new theme did not show up. Do you have any idea where I should start investigate?
