Use of specialist lexicon does not preserve given spelling variant. #2

Using the Specialist Lexicon make a sentence with "heart failure" as a noun.

Its entry in the lexicon is:

{base=heart-failure
spelling_variant=heart failure
spelling_variant=heartfailure
entry=E0030980
    cat=noun
    variants=uncount
}

The realised output is "heart-failure".

There should be some way to preserve the spelling variant that is given.

Resolved. There are now methods to set default spelling (and inflectional)
variants, as well as acronyms. See the lexicon-design doc in the docs/ folder.
