gatool is a tool to provide FIRST® Game Announcers with up to date information while announcing events during the FIRST Robotics season. As a web-based tool, it uses up-to-date information about the event to provide a comprehensive set of useful data to Game Announcers. It is designed to work on desktops, laptops and tablet devices.
The offseason includes many variations for Playoff match styles, and while gatool can ingest any schedule that the Scorpion can emit, we cannot always parse the bracket or figure out where the winners/losers go at the conclusion of any Playoff match.
Please figure out a way to support 5, 6 and 6 Alliance double-elimination brackets. Ideally, the user would:
Load a Qual schedule
Load final rankings
Load the first Playoff schedule (Round 1 and a few Upper Bracket matches for Round 2 pre-populated, based on the scenario)
