0.4 Update (vscode packaging/dependencies) #11

This pull addresses a number of deprecation/bugfix/security issues with the vscode core dependencies. It also updates to a later version of node and typescript.

There are still a few warning prints to be resolved with the underlying code, but at least this will give you a head start. I'll be working on the issues in my fork as well and may override this pull request with more fixes in future.

Closed - not working at the moment even with upgrades.
