Artisan 3.0.2 + Macbook + MacOS 15.0.1 = won't connect to Hottop

Problem Description

Updated to Macos 15.0.1 and Artisan 3.0.2 will no longer connect to the Hottop KN-8818B-2K+.

Steps To Reproduce

Plugged in Hottop. Connected to MacBook M2 2022 using Apple-branded USB-A to USB-C adapter. Launched Artisan Clicked START (Hottop disconnected displayed and tops of the BT/ET digits look like they are cut off?) Right clicked on TIMER display, but Hottop Disconnected is still displayed.

My bad, GFCI outlet that the Hottop was connected to had tripped, so no AC to the unit.

It works now.
