Loading model... #19

When i run the application it says "Loading model..." then the label dissapear and appear right away, repeating forever.

Hi, yes this is a common known issue. I put in an FAQ in the discord. I'll put it here. Please let me know if this fixes it.

When in doubt, go to Settings and try running in Debug mode. This will help pinpoint the error. We're going to try and notifications in app for most of the common errors but we're going to miss some from time to time. I made it super expansive so we can try and find the error from that. Just leave it running, it's just a way of seeing updates live from the backend

  1. Stuck on Loading Models: or things go to queue but nothing happens, please go to Task Manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and see if you have 2 pythons running. Sometimes this happens on start up (have been debugging this forever). Please right click on them and close them. Then go to Settings, and click on Debug mode and press save. This will do a soft reset of the backend. Let me know how this goes. If it still doesn't work, we'll debug.

  2. Debugger isn't starting: I's possible you have a "flask" error. Globally, this means an install error. Se clean install instructions below.

CLEAN INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: This is a new instruction because of our custom install paths. Sometimes it cannot find the artroom folder on uninstall (even if it's in default). After you do an uninstall, please double check that artroom is deleted (wherever you installed it, defaults to c:/users/yourname/artroom). If it's still there, please delete. This will force the clean uninstall. After that, you can go to https://artroom.ai/download-app and download latest. This should fix most install issues. If not, please reach out.
