I've come across the paintbrush and intended to use it as a macro-pad for messing around with my PC before the bluetooth initialises, however, after actually reading about ARTSEYIO I thought I may as well write up the whole firmware as the whole project is pretty cool and the kmk scripts could be useful for some people.
I'm using KMK as I couldn't get the ZMK or QMK files, you provide, working (this is probably a me thing).
I have most of it working, you can mostly type as you usually would. I have a couple of errors with OneShots (Shift being held until used) and Layers not working. If anyone would have a look, if you have the time, and see where I've gone wrong then I'll happily leave the repo as a resource for your project.
