The current Navigator (ex: http://cl.ly/image/3m3n0j3B1y2g/o) is designed to express the organization of the Artsy Team. Web Nav currently is not able to reflect the nuances, so applying this design to the web version is crucial.

what are we missing here? i don't want to make it so it side scrolls like that. perhaps design could weigh in with a layout optimized for the web

yeah, i think we need to get a designer involved. what we're missing is the way the pdf navigator communicates team structure. example: robert is head of product, so design and product ops teams report to him, but alexander is lead of product ops, so ani reports to alexander, not to robert, etc etc. that subtlety isn't communicated currently.
