Great app!

You attach the cellphone to the telescope such that the physical top part of the phone points towards viewing direction.

It would be nice if the phone position/orientation (versus the optics) could have offsets.

That would allow easier use of the app with (large) binoculars, e.g. look at bino oculars then raise your head to see the phone (back and forth). Ideally both portrait and landscape orientations 😄

I came here to suggest just this! In my case I was thinking about either using the phone on a tripod and the camera for a kind of push to short exposure astrophotography or EAA rig. Perhaps it could even be used with OpenLiveStacker in this manner.

The offset was requested for some time. I need to implement it. Need to dig into the math
