Icons in appearance dont explain well what they do

It took me longer than necessary to figure out what "rounding corners" slider does. For first time I thought that "italic fond for numbers" switch underlines the text.

I think text would explain it better.

I think color and corners size icons are passable, but I agree that "full-width characters" switch (underline) and "text size" icons are not obvious. I chose closest icons from the default material icons set. Text would 100% convey the meaning but with downsides:

• Text will not fit in one line with the slider/swith, so we need to stack them vertically. This will move whole UI down, so it might not fit on small screens without scrolling.
• Need translations. I don't even know how to translate "full-width characters" perfectly to my native language.

As a simplest solution I would try to improve icons.

@artyommironov I agrese that translation and naming would be difficult. But I think is its easier than finding the right icon.

For "full width characters" why dont just translate it like that and then maybe have information icon about what it does. Idk if info icons are great idea for phone.

I disagree about the scrolling.

1. There would be less options If we separe text and widget
2. In the future you dont know how many options there would be anyway.
