Spruce up the design #3

The application is nowhere near done, but start thinking about the UI and how to make it more appealing to the eye. As well as more functional.

I have begun this process, and added some simple to make the application more appealing to the eye. This is still a work in process. Responsive design features will need to be thought about next.
