Make the backups stoppable #21

If multithreading is used, the current backup will not be canceled when if a user tries to ctrl-c (or any signal who indicates that it should stop). Investigate if it's linked to the inclusion of packagers.

Fixed with e4df569a3decd00b0c66a8097fe0c9e49042c41a Introduced other bugs that were fixed later.
