Odd problem on some pages with linkedin button #105

Hi!

Thanks as ever for the theme.

I'm having an odd problem: in the post footer I'm using social links and on some pages only the linkedin button is broken and some of the script corresponding to that button is displayed. This happens on my machine and on the live website and I have tried to find some difference in the content of the pages and even very minimal pages seem to produce this effect randomly.

Here's a page with the effect: https://www.jonathanmair.com/2013/03/new-blog-ethicscrassh/

And here's one without: https://www.jonathanmair.com/2015/08/rodney-needham-and-paul-veyne-on-religious-belief/

Many thanks for any insight you can provide!

Jon

PS: I found the problem....it was the typogrify add-on for pelican, which was adding html tags into my titles and the script for the linked in button didn't like that. Have removed the add-on and the problem is resolved.

Thanks for the quick response!

Please see my comment above, I found the problem and have resolved it. Typogrify was putting tags in some of my titles and that was breaking the linkedin script. I think it's typogrify's problem, not yours.

Thanks again
