Notifier fails after suspend/unsuspend cycle on Windows #400

Run notifier; suspend then unsuspend windows.  Notifier will no longer update, 
and will continue to show stale information.

Restarting the notifier will fix the problem.

Can you please run the notifier from a debugger or as a straight script with 
debug logging on, then do the suspend cycle?

I'm wondering if there is a thread crashing that just needs to be safely 
handled..
