Many users complain that there is no way to copy and paste text into our out of 
bitfighter  or use web links is it possible to support this?

This would be a nice feature.  One of the students from GCI worked on this, but 
I lost track of how much progress was made

It uses the SDL2 clipboard API.  Here was the GCI task:

It looks like it went through several students and some severely unpatchable 
code.  It wasn't completed.
