1. Can not find iwlwifi-4965-2.ucode in /lib/firmware
2. dmesg show iwlagn get fault
3. after add iwlwifi-4965-2.ucode, iwlagn can't work, it can't find any wifi
ssid and stop again

I use froyo-eeepc-20101015.iso on ThinkPad X61
Wireless card is 4965AGN, it worked on 1.6 r2

Any Eee PC use iwlagn? If not, I'll mark the issue invalid.

Use generic_x86 build instead.

It doesn't work in generic either. As original poster has stated, Wifi was
working in Android x86 1.6 r2 but is NOT working in Android x86 Froyo. I'm
using the one released on 01-01-2011.

When trying to turn on Wifi, it says error. dmesg shows segfault in
utmethod.pinyin (I found something similar - inputmethod.pinyin - incorrect
display by dmesg?)

Ok, downloaded the latest nightly generic build. Still doesn't work :(
But, this time I used dmesg|tail -n 50|less to get last 50 lines of dmesg. It
says firmware is missing. Also lists the name of the missing file:
iwlwifi-4965-2.ucode

After searching on google, discovered that this can be downloaded from here:
http://intellinuxwireless.org/?n=Downloads

Also discoverd that this might have to be put in the following folder:
/lib/firmware/linux-* and is probably a part of linux-restricted-modules
package in Ubuntu

Guessed from info on this page:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-restricted-modules/+bug/269926

This is still an issue :(. Could someone please fix this? I've installed the
live iso onto my pendrive and I boot from that. Is there a way to get the file
on the iso or usb so that it works without having to copy each time?
