battery management deadlock on EeePC #189

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install LiveCD on USB Stick with UNetbootin
2. Boot an Asus EeePC 1001HA with USB Stick
3. Launch LiveCD menu with 5% Battery load

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Everythings runs OK until android froyo main menu appears. But after, it goes 
sleeping, wakes up, and so on, every 5s.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version eeepc froyo 20110101. Directly boot on EeePC 1001HA with USB Stick

Please provide any additional information below.
No means to halt except removing battery from EeePC
