Its not particularly hard to run the USB image.
However this should be discussed on the Google Group.
If people are really struggling, I will create a Howto for getting the usb
image onto a usb drive after work later today when I test the build for myself.

Oh yes please. For Windows User please! With Lili USB Creator I can make an
Boot USB with the img. But After installation on the Viewpad it doesn´t start.
Thanks

Installation on the device is not currently supported AFAIK(this has been
stated plenty of times previously).
However the USB image is a live image so running it from the USB drive works
fine(but nothing is saved) and installing apps works well too.
Unfortunately Android 2.2 is really not in a usable state on the viewpad yet.
I have had a play around with it and there are some key problems that would
prevent it being useful as a day to day OS for the viewpad. I will post more
info in the google groups.

Does it make sense to continue working on Froyo? Honeycomb is coming soon and is
certainly easier to port to x86!
I mean, Froyo would only be interesting if Flash works.

Why would you say easier to port to x86? I predict that it will be a lot harder
due to the massive changes in the ui and probably the large back end changes
that have to be dealt with. The only way it would become easier if google
released a generic x86 version themselves and then we would just have to
rebuild it for different targets, however I cant see them doing that.
I think the devs are correct to continue working on the Froyo/Gingerbread
releases until Google at least releases Honey comb. Anyway, As I have said
before can we take general discussion too the Google Groups, the link is:

The USB image is created because, as the VP10 has not in-built CD-ROM drive, an
CD ISO makes little sense.
Not everyone needs an ISO, and personally I'd prefer people to update a USB
stick with a new build each time than burn a new CD for each release. If you
want to create and host an ISO feel free to do so.
Please move any other discussion over to the google group as pointed to in
Comment #5.
