Can not boot on HDD from Motion Computing Tablet #94

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Continue to boot off the CD.
2. Not Bootable, HDD as Primary
3. Formated FAT32, NTFS, etc.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Not Bootable BLACK SCREEN

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android 1.6r2

Please provide any additional information below.
Computer- Motion Computing Tablet Model LS800, Intel Centrino
1024 Memory
80 Gig HDD
Pen Based.
wireless mouse
wireless WEP internet connection

Try vesa? I too have a wacom penenabed tablet, that doesn't seem to work?

I have same problem, i have a Motion tablet with Wacom and ive tried many 
different releases, it just sits at black screen with flashing cursor. Ive 
tried VESA and Debug modes.

This does work, I have it going on mine, there is a commented line in a make 
file you have to undo, for the i915 video driver. {don't have it handy}

There is however another issue I am currenltly trying to fix which is the 
problem of having the wrong horiz/vert refresh rates once the android splash 
loads for the GUI.

The kernel boots the uvesafb modules fine in all modes, but as soon as the GUI 
launches it's not useable anymore.
