BlinkStick Square Not Working on OSX #47

I've read most of the documentation and some forum posts about problems with regular BlinkSticks on OSX but they seem to be resolved for the most part. I however cannot get my Blinkstick Square to be recognized by the OSX client, and can't control it from the Python CLI tool nor custom py scripts. I've installed the software dependencies for both the client and the py lib/tool. Am I missing something? I did see theres some mention of registering? Do I really have to make an account to use a USB LED device? That seems weird. Also, when I plug it in it flashes white for a split second and then shuts off... no action after that.

Im closing this out as the EIGHTH cord I tried seems to have fixed all of my issues....seems to be a case of very bad luck.....my apologies!
