The numeric keys would require change too. The game only triggers pre-cast spells using the number keys 1, 2 and 3, while 4 is to cancel one of the current spells.
We could have up to 9 slots to control the 9 number keys. 0 is abligious for different keyboard layouts: on hungarian keyboards the 0
is to the left of 1
and the key after 9
is ö
, while on english keyboards the 0
comes after 9
on the right.
The cancel spell key by default could be changed from 4
to backspace
by default, similarly to Thief 1's clear inventory hotkey.

The number of spell slots are maximized at 3 at the moment, either raise that to 6 or provide a way for the mod to raise it to 6.
