DB2Unit would be ideal, but requires enhancements to IBM i. We should submit an RFE for Db2 modules first & see how that goes.

I am the db2unit creator, and I haven't worked in an IBM i (I am a LUW DBA), that is the reason I have never ported to that. About the modules, well, in a fork they could eventually could be converted into normal procedures and functions; however, they become exposed to a direct execution, which is not the purpose. As you said, IBM should integrate modules in all Db2 flavors.
