Summary

A nice usability enhancement for the system would be to create pregenerated characters for each class of varying levels. I'm open to suggestions on what level ranges to tackle, but I would lean towards the following as a starting point:

Labels (do-not-change)

Would any character do? Are we restricted to draw from "official" pregens (like from the various Free RPG Day adventures)?

@LegoFed3 we have no restrictions if we create our own characters while using the materials available in the SRD. I've updated the issue with some suggested levels to cover. I can get token artwork for us on them once we decide on race/class combinations.

I've put some recommended level ranges up, but I'm open to suggestions there. The PF2e system also includes pregens if you'd like to see how they organized the compendiums for them.

Well, I have something approaching 300 character concepts mechanically worked from lvl 1 to 10, so if you can provide a list of desired archetypes to cover I can probably provide these quite easily (especially since now there's a lot of automation in setting up stats and powers!).

Sure thing, I'll think on this some. I think definitely characters covering the core classes for the three levels listed in the issue, but doing more levels could work as well if you have time for those. Some multiclass characters would be good as well to show how they can be implemented in the system, but I imagine we could a smaller subset of those. I haven't had a ton of multiclassing in my games, so I would recommend asking around in the discord for suggestions on what archetypes to cover for them.

Having one per core class that focuses on being easy to grok/play while fullfilling the most archetypical version of that class fantasy may be good, to be able to quickly have new players select a class, hand them a pregen and play, reducing cumbersome stuff or surprises.

Doing the same for each tier of play could also be cool just so you have starting points.
