This is an enhancement request.
When creating a new host entry, the host gets the default settings. I always
have to change a few of these settings ("Use pubkey authentication" and "Use
SSH auth agent"). I must connect to a new host, immediately disconnect, edit
the host settings, change them, and connect again.
I would like a "default host" setting, which looks just like the "Edit Host"
settings window, except without the "Connection Settings" section. All new
connections would inherit these settings.
Alternately, allow me to clone a host. Then I could make one called "Default",
and clone it when I need a new host.
What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using Menu
-> About in the Host List)?
ConnectBot 1.7.1 (from the Market) on CyanogenMod 7 on HTC Desire HD.
