Issues with "more locations and times..." link on search results page #197

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click on 'Education' link
2. Click on 'more locations and times...' link wherever you see on the page

What do you see instead?
1. When there are more than four dates available.. It show an empty space
before comma. (eg. May 21 , May 26, May 28)
2. When there are exactly four dates available.. It does nothing except
change the link to 'show fewer locations and times...'
3. When there are exactly three dates available.. clinking on the link
makes it disappear

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
verify in other popular search results as well eg. 'Hunger'

I'm thinking of deleting this JS and replacing it with a static text:
"May 21, May 26, and other dates..."

yes, let's just have it be static text. Users can click on the landing page to
learn
more. However, we should make sure to show today and future dates first.

For example, let's say this is in the feed (May 1, June 1, July 1, August 1)

If it's May 14, we should only June 1, July 1, and other dates.

erring on the side of adding searchqual label (for searchqual prioritization)

as a matter of good discipline, since v1.5 is technically live,
re-targeting for v1.6

(since there's few issues in 1.6, they won't get "lost in the noise")
