Four different font sizes and two different fonts on the home page #254

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to the home page.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Two fonts, but one size for the HTML Arial on the page, with strength
variation for roman and strong text.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
http://footprint2009dev.appspot.com/ on an Intel Macintosh.

Please provide any additional information below.
The fonts should render at a single size.

Also, the vertical rhythm on the homepage is all over the place.

I'm picking this one up.

Additionally, the logo and the line "E.g., Park, Education, Hunger, Homeless,
Seniors, Health, Animals, Hospital" are too close to the blue demarcation for 
the
header by 4 pixels.

We need the homepage to be more font consistent - but this wont happen for 1.1. 

Waiting for Ches to give newer design.

moving out of 1.1-- we're not realistically going to change the UI design now.

Here's the proposed changes that require the least amount of work.  We're just 
making 
fonts consistent and adding "Likes" to the top listings. 

After 1.5, we should consider redesigning this page.
