Null pointer exception when user clicks on 'Sign out' in settings page and click on 'Invite' link in main page

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Sign in with any Google account
2.Click 'Settings' link.
3.Click 'Sign out' link in the the bottom of 'Settings' pop up window.
4.Click 'Invite' link in main window.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Excpected: 1.Either no 'Sign out ' link in pop up window, or if we click on
'Sign out' link in pop up window, Main page should be Signed out and refreshed.
Actual: java.lang.NullPointerException
    at
com.google.ccc.peoplesense.service.util.UserUtil.hasSocialNetworkInCommunity(Use
rUtil.java:37)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
