Like count shows a number the real +1 if likes are presented

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Do "Like" for one or more search results.
2. Go to Activity Page
3. Look at 'Like count:'

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The number shown should be same as the number(n) of liked events

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The number shown in the right top corner shows n+1 like 

Like count:3
when you actually have 2 events that you like.

Please provide any additional information below.

And if you unlike the event from the Activity page the 'Like count' number 
doesn't
change till you reload the page.

aigh-- you entered the bugs into the wrong issue tracker.

reassigning to danny (wasn't the old tracker supposed to 
put into readonly mode?)
