GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Click Add-ons
2.Click Get Add-ons
3.Click bluecop Add-on Repository

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should find Freecable. I don't see anything list. It is blank.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using v.12 Frodo. Windows 7 home

Please provide any additional information below.
You seam to be the only one on the internet that has the free cable add-on. I
do not see anything in your list of add-ons.

I have this same problem on my Raspberry Pi. This seems like an XBMC issue -
deleting the Addons15.db and restarting XBMC fixed the problem for me.

I had the same issue too. When i check the addon folder i download from
google. it only has one file in the folder " addon"

when i open it. it content the following code.

"  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
- <addon id="repository.bluecop.xbmc-plugins" name="bluecop Add-on Repository"
version="1.0.0" provider-name="bluecop">
- <extension point="xbmc.addon.repository" name="bluecop Add-on Repository">
  <info compressed="false">http://bluecop-xbmc-repo.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/addons.xml</info>
  <checksum>http://bluecop-xbmc-repo.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/addons.xml.md5</checksum>
  <datadir zip="false">http://bluecop-xbmc-repo.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/</datadir>
  </extension>
- <extension point="xbmc.addon.metadata">
  <summary>Install Add-ons from bluecop Add-on Repository</summary>
  <description>Video plug-ins for XBMC</description>
  <disclaimer />
  <platform>all</platform>
  </extension>
  </addon>"

Also have this issue on Raspberry Pi. It appears something is "updating" the
bluecop plugin because I'm able to get a list, but then a notice pops up
Bluecop repository updated, and after that everything goes empty.

Was able to get mine working by disabling autoupdate version 1.0.0 of the
Bluecop repository works fine, however the 1.0.1 update that's being pushed
seems to be broken.

I also had the problem on Raspbmc; I followed the suggestion from jjsleg
(deleting the Addon15.db file), and it worked immediately after a reboot.

Same issue, I had Free Cable installed on Eden then upgraded to Frodo. After
that Free cable stopped working, (script error whenever I selected a channel)
so I uninstalled the plug-in expecting to reinstall, but the repo shows empty.
deleted the repo and re-added, same issue
I even installed xbmc 12 on a new computer and installed the Bluecop repo,
still shows up empty :/ I haven't tried rolling back to Eden yet, but I
assume that this is a Frodo issue?

FYI, I enabled Debug logging and then did a Force Refresh on the Repo and it
now shows all the addons in the bluecop repo (though Free Cable is still not
working after re-installing)

I had the same problem on Raspbmc and jjsleg's solution worked for me too :)

Deleted the Addon15.db and rebooted.

The Addon15.db file is found in ~/.xbmc/userdata/Database

Having corrected this issue, I get an error 1150 when trying to play any amazon
video. Does anyone know how to correct this? I am running XBMC on an OUYA
connected via ethernet to my home network. Plays 720p files fine (.wma and
.m4v) but errors out after selecting a movie from my Amazon list - Amazon
Instant Video. Thanks.

Re: #13/Philip.a

Amazon prime videos have a DRM scheme that now prevents them working with xbmc.
I complained to amazon about this issue and they sent me a coupon for $20 off a
roku. That said, if you think this issue is fixable, you might start a new
topic instead of adding to this one.

Hi folks, I'm having the same issue and I'm using rasp bmc. I tried everything
mentioned aboved, forced refresh, deleted the addon15.db file, restarted Xbmc
to no avail. Any other developments?
