It would be nice to have the IDs in the logical order of hierarchy:

TaxonID/GeneID/Homologene/ProteinAccession/ProteinGI/description/FASTA

Also, if you want less characters, I suppose:

taxid/gid/hid/ref/gi/ etc

Or I suppose to better respect RefSeq, the order can be in reverse, but what I don't like is a broken order hierarchy.
