Currently, we only have the label "WG Member" to depict both the work(ing) group member and the general project participant. The argument was that there is no project participant that is not also part of at least one work group (or who is the project lead). However, I agree that there is no WG defined during these steps yet. In fact, one could argue that no WG is defined for the Proposal phase at all.
The question now is: do we want to define one more role to make this distinction clear? Or do keep the number of roles we have to describe for users small? This should be discussed separately together with the others, I think.
Yes, let's discuss with the others but from the description of "Proposal Workshop" where still everyone is entitled to participate regardless of ASAM Membership, I derive that the actual Working Group cannot exist prior to this workshop. Therefore, no WG members can be listed in previous stages.

Subject
Unclear use of "WG Member" as a label for participants
Section
Proposal Phase Steps
Description
It is not fully clear to me whether the label (or button) "WG Member" is used correctly. Do Working Groups already exist in "Repository Setup" and "Draft Creation" stages? I couldn't locate a corresponding definition in the project guide (yet).
Suggestion
Maybe "ASAM Member" might be better for the early phases?!
