Connection error #468

It happens occasionally every other day but min 3 days a week, that hass isn't able to communicate with the hub. hub is 2m away of the wifi access point and having strong signal. Hub led is steady red in such situations. It sometimes need to be plugged out and in again to become available again, but not every time.

Sorry for late reply - I have been away for a number of weeks. This is a known feature of the hubs, in particular if you have mesh wifi. They drop the wifi and then take a little while to reconnect. If we are polling for an update at this moment, then it will error.

However, it recovers fine when the hub re-establishes wifi.

Do you have mesh wifi? I have seen significant stability by having a wifi extender connected to my mesh with a different SSID (not mesh) to connect the hub to.

Ty for ur response and your suggestions.I have no mesh but single Zyxel AP covering my small home pretty well.Im interested to get more information bout that „feature“ of the wiser hub. Havent found any information bout it yet. Also wonder for what purpose but thats another story.I had set another ssid on the AP for the hub a while ago, but got it back in my main one soon, course my isp had troubles with the cable connection in that time. so hub was offline much, as i only could connect thru internet not also WiFi.I ll try next week, if another more silent ssid helps with that issue. Hi Mark,

thank you for your patience. i was pretty busy last week so couldn't do the setup. Tho i could last weekend, i'm still facing that issue now 3 times a day for a 4 Minutes period even with latest updates applied on hass and hacs and AP reset to defaults, with only primary ssd for all and secondary ssid for wiser.

what i recognized after switching to ur latest release and also the latest hass core is, that wiser have missing entities now "cancel all overides" and also "boost all heating". Also all Wiser LTS target temperature entities for every room a valve is installed in are missing now.

Should i provide any further logs or just reset it all to default and start over again, as only me having that issue.

Can you do 2 things.

  1. Redownload v3.4.7 of the integration. That should fix this missing buttons.
  2. Send me a diagnostic download. Thx
