IOOS Modeling data does not work (non uniform grid) #3

But raster for some reason was not an option. I can load this okay with ToolsUI, and in our Matlab toolbox, I verified that it has 1D lon/lat coordinates. I guess the problem is that the lat spacing is not completely uniform?
