Currently particle layers switch back & forth connected at the lng -180/180 meridian. If we can support particle layers like eds layers, where the bounds can be anything between [-359.999999, -85], [359.999999, 85], then this would fix the global particle layers switching at the meridian.
As a side-effect, this change would normalize the density of a particle layer at all zoom levels.
