A more advanced option, but in Windows 7, windows with transparency do not show through vhscrcap or other capture software if Windows Aero has been disabled. This will be on a per-user and per-machine basis basically, but the option should be there. Current transparency is disabled to support everyone, but transparency would mean the scoreboard window does not have the black hard corners and can be actually rounded. A slight better look overall.
