Same issue here, also on a Mi Box S, with both "Connection refused" errors and "TypeError: b2a_base64() argument 1 must be string or buffer, not None" error. Seems like there are several related issues around here, probably something has changed in Netflix and needs to be addressed in order for this plugin to work. Is the plugin working currently for anybody?

The plugin is working for me, on Zidoo H6 Pro, which is Android 7.1. It does not work on Xiaomi MiBox S and Mecool KM9, which are Android TV 8.1, giving the same widevine errors, so i guess it has something to do with the android version 8.1 or Android TV....

In Xiaomi Mi Box 4K it's the same. I believe this is an issue in android TV
