Just did a test on my windows x64 with a monitor without HDCP support.

Kodi nightlies with zip file from this git repo.

Inputstream adaptive , Auto Widevine DRM download on pop up.

Play Video and 1080 HD works.

The ESN is auto generated , similar to ESN what you get on chrome.

So ESN is not the problem ?

devwhatsapp commented 5 years ago

In the userdata\addon_data\plugin.video.netflix , there is a file along with cookie which might contain the actual ESN for my device which is of this format - NFCDCH-01-***

Also I did install netflix mobile app and the ESN on that was of this format - NFANDROID1-PRV-P-L3-*****

Noted one more thing , that when I disable hardware decoding in kodi settings , it only plays audio in the addon when playing a title. So its not able to use software decoding which is suppose to happen right ?

Regards
