Steps to Reproduce

1. [First Step] Playback a movie on netflix
2. [Second Step] Select toolbar setting -> subtitles setting -> dropdown a embed subtitle English [Default] (1/3) Chinese - Hans Default Chinese - Hans Default

3. [and so on...] But playback not display

   Your netflix plugin often crashing!! Don't test them,Why??

Please share your log file, but I can tell you that you are missing your charset for your Language... so Check your Kodi Language , if your desired Language is not Installled, Install it first and then reastart and Try KODI , then try Netflix...
