Dear @Depthkernelcore , I don’t understand chinese alphabet, please explain what is wrong and how it should be.

Depthkernelcore commented 8 months ago

Hi,rahmanusta simply put, when I use AsciidocFX, my system(win10) set Control Panel --> Clock and Region --> Region --> Adminnistrative --> Chang system locale --> Chinese(Simplified,China), Enter chinese , Chinese characters are displayed abnormally. But my system(win10) set Control Panel --> Clock and Region --> Region --> Adminnistrative --> Chang system locale --> English(US), Enter chinese , Chinese characters are displayed normally!

I can't reproduce this error.

Install AsciidocFX 1.8.6 Windows EXE (https://github.com/asciidocfx/AsciidocFX/releases/download/v1.8.6/AsciidocFX_Windows.exe )

zh_input_test

I tested it twice, switched to different settings, and restarted the computer to take effect. I can use the pinyin input method to input Chinese in AsciidocFX, and the directory and file names with Chinese names are displayed normally.

lang_setting_en_us

lang_setting_zh_cn

lang_setting_zh_cn_encoding

I am using MS Windows 10 VM from "MSEdge - Win10.ova" to test it. Default is English language environment, then I add lanaguage pack. (ZH CN)

show_zh

You can see that the directory name named in Chinese and the file name named in Chinese can be displayed normally. In addition, the input method is the Pinyin input method built into Windows 10.
