I also ran into a problem when using both asciidoctor-bibtex and asciidoctor-latex, which should be fixed here. Please accept this pull request and release a new version. :)
For reference: https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor-bibtex/issues/64#issuecomment-566573736
Wondering if/when this is going to be merged; this is exactly my use case. I've never used Ruby, so this took a moment to figure out.
Meanwhile, I figured that the latex
and bibtex
extensions should work together. See asciidoctor-bibtex
readme:
it can be used together with asciidoctor-latex for native bibtex support
Anyhow, I can confirm this works on Windows 10. Thanks!
This project is currently seeking a maintainer to move it forward. See https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor-latex/issues/67. Although I've advised on the project, I've never been a maintainer of it, nor do I have time. But I will help with the administrative tasks necessary to get it moving again.
@mojavelinux Let us know when there is an update to this. asciidoctor-latex
is a pretty important part of Asciidoctor.
If there's an update, you'll see it here. I don't have one. My offer stands that I'm willing to help by handling the administrative tasks if someone comes forward to maintain the code.
This extension works under asciidoctor 2.0 and is useful. So it would be nice to relax the version constraints so that we have an asciidoc-to-latex convertor.
