[CF 385] Timer and timertext not visible in a metaicon #407

When I add a unit cooldown icon with multiple cooldowns to a metaicon, the metaicon will not show the cooldowntimer or text unless I disable "always hide". This is the icon I tried to add:

I can't seem to be able to reproduce this. Could you post the export string of a group that contains both the meta icon and the unit cooldown icon?

It's a little messy now, with some icons disabled and not doing anything. The crux is icon 1:11, which feeds into 1:72, which feeds into 1:75, which feeds into 3:4. 3:4 ends up not displaying the timer and timer text if all the previous icons are hidden. (don't ask me why the structure is so mindboggingly complex. I don't know myself. I built this a long time ago and now I'm just scared of messing with a working system.)

Hmmm... It still seems to be working fine for me (I changed the unit cooldowns being tracked to some hunter abilities, but that wouldn't have any affect). I did see it happen once, though, but that was while I was configuring the unit cooldown icon while TMW is locked (it doesn't always update everything properly because that would require a complete update of every icon, which generally only occurs when locking or unlocking). After unlocking and locking, it continute to function normally, with both timer and timer text appearing for the unit cooldown icon in the meta icon in the middle of the screen.

I may have been a little too hasty when I said I no longer had any issues. After doing a few bgs the issue has reappeared. I have no idea how to reliably reproduce this error. It occurs seemingly at random and disappears again without me changing any options.

Found a way to (from a limited testing) reliably reproduce the error. Seems like my initial suspicion with metaicons was wrong.

The icon in question 1:9, which goes into 1:1, which goes into 3:4. Frankly, this bug has been present from when I created the icon yesterday. I haven't noticed any irregular behaviour so far.

Should be fixed in r360.

(r360) If a meta icon is directly checking another meta icon, and the meta icon being checked changes the icon that is is checking, the meta icon checking the other meta icon should now properly update its inherited settings.
