[CF 524] Event editor bugged #546

This is still live. (Should I keep posting these?)

The event editor only allows new handlers of the "On Left Click" and "On Right Click" variety to be created. And it doesn't allow editing of old handlers beyond the first one in the list.

Perhaps related to that is a minor bug where the border animation on one of my icons is firing upon login. It only goes back to proper functionality if I enter /tmw once.

Didn't realize that was so broken when I pushed r529 out.

I think I'm going to go ahead and push r530 right now, even though it probably could use a little bit more work, just because it does contain many bug fixes (and probably introduced twice as many new bugs, yay!)

Minor issue I think already existed: http://i.imgur.com/GWJJC.jpg The = operator is replaced with "..." depending on the scaling of the window.

Metaicons seem pretty wrecked. Animations aren't working at all and they ignore many (but I don't think all) conditions on their subicons, displaying them when they are actually failing a condition.

I use a slightly different font from the default one WoW uses, which is probably why I didn't notice that. I will make that dropdown just a tad bigger to try and fix that.

What do you mean about meta icons and animations? All the ones that I have set up are working OK. Could you give me some example export strings of stuff that isn't working?

EDIT: HOLD IT! I think I might know what the problem is. Open up AddOns\TellMeWhen\Components\IconTypes\IconView_meta\meta.lua and comment out these lines (109-111):

``` if not icToUse then icToUse = ic end ```

so that they look like this:

``` -- if not icToUse then -- icToUse = ic -- end ```

and see if this fixes the problem.

(I'm here because I just woke up. I won't have time to fix stuff till later, though.)

That fixed the problem that subicons didn't have their conditions checked. The issue where metaicons aren't triggering animations is still persisting. Group 2: Icon 4 has two different borders depending on rage. Neither are ever showing up.

Turns out the bug with animations was just a simple typo... that I don't know the source of because the only time i remember changing that part of the code is when i copied and pasted the whole thing into its own file.

Oh well, its fixed now in r531.

Well, knock me over and call me deconstructed - "the aforementioned icon" - Maybe I should read harder? I will look into it, but it might be tricky since your profile isn't exactly designed for a hunter.

EDIT: Which animation is playing on startup? The yellow border or the red border?

The yellow one. And the reason the icons on which the animations depend are so convolutedly interlinked is to avoid that the "end all animations" trigger fires after a new animation has just begun.

This bug might have been in the game longer than I let on. There is a longstanding issue with TMW that I never bothered to report because it was so insignificant. When I login the first global I use triggeres the cooldown finished animation on about 80% (seemingly at random) of the cooldown icons I have. But since it's only a 2 second animation and it doesn't reoccur with subsequent GCD's it's not really an impairment. The obvious difference is that the yellow border is triggered without a GCD, but perhaps they're still related.

Perhaps I should add that the yellow border also appears on beta, where I removed the red border from the icon.

I seem to be unable to reproduce this. I am on an arms warrior on the beta right now, and, I'm not seeing any borders pop up on login.

I do see what you mean how the first GCD is triggering the cooldown finished animations. I will look into this.

For talents and glyphs.

I'm in combat stance. Doesn't make a difference though. Border appears across stances.

I do have to target a hostile or be in combat because otherwise the large center icon 2:4 is hidden. However you can remove those conditions so that the icon is always visible and the border still appears.

The same is true for being in combat which is another condition that would make the icon visible.

Step by step guide: Import the profile below, reload the ui, target a dummy, look at the center.
