When you look in the Memory window, with the "auto refresh" box checked, do you see the sensor values changing? place your finger in fring of the sensors one by one. (the variables that should change: prox.horizontal[0-4])
Is this issue still relevant?
I don't remember... probably not. I think that the the sensor values were off and I had to lower them to make the instrument work. Thanks for checking in!

I have an older thymio- the one with the wheels without the holes - and I updated the firmware. I tried the musical instrument example and only 2 of the sensors work to produce the programmed noise. I used the same program and same memory card with loaded files on a new thymio, and that worked fine.
