Just out of curiosity, the bottom of the readme does informally specify an MIT license — did you notice that? Or was your issue that an informal license like that won't cut it?

I noticed that this module was missing any sort of license. Many companies require that all code be licensed before they can use it.
Most open source projects seem to license under MIT, so I created a PR to make it easy.
