I no longer have that issue after updating @memattyg what version are you running?
when you open HACS and click on the integration does it show in the top left: ac7e38a
or aka the full hash: ac7e38a0bfa964780822e9af260473ac5ea1f2cd aka
I’m not exactly sure what you mean. It looks like this
Got it, that should be the latest version. I too was experiencing that problem with my Bluetooth adapter until I made my recent changes. Honestly I don't know the best way to fix this any further. I wish I could, but hopefully someone smarter about Bluetooth with home assistant sees this to help. Because I don't really have a ton of time to dig in.
I'll leave this issue up for others who may be experiencing this as well.
I was also having this issue. What solved it for me was turning Bluetooth off on my mobile device to ensure it wasn't connected to the BedJet.
Thanks, @asheliahut, for putting this together!
What's very interesting, is that after my update I no longer have had the issues, a long with still having my phones Bluetooth connected, the remote still active, and home assistant connected and working simultaneously. The Bluetooth adapter I use for anyone who cares. Long Range Bluetooth Adapter for PC, XDO Class 1 USB Adapter 5.1+EDR, 328FT/100M Wireless Transfer Transmitter Receiver for Bluetooth Mouse Keyboard Speakers Headphones Support Win11/10/8/7 https://a.co/d/gcuFLDF
It works on my server passthrough proxmox, with host OS is Debian. And VM running HAOS
The issue I am facing is that the bedjet will not change state initially when I change a setting like fan speed or mode. I then reload the integration and sometimes it works, sometimes the BedJet becomes either unkown or unavailable. The only fix that works reliably is to restart home assistant. I know there has been a similar issue in the past, but seems it is marked as resolved, however I am still dealing with this issue.
Any idea why i have to fully restart home assistant as opposed to just needing to reload the integration?
I am connecting via the bluetooth on the RPi4 which is 2 feet from the BedJet if that helps.
