I updated the dependecies and even removed some because they seem to be useless.
Furthermore I slightly improved the sample app and uploaded the sample app .apk file.
Of course I also updated the README (and it seems like you forgot to update the README after last update because 1.0.3 already exists).
I did not add any tests because I've never used one. If you want the tests to get included just say it and I will try.
