In order to calibrate the emissions driven runs we are going to need to download the following monthly data.

[x] tas
[x] rsds
[x] rsus
[x] rlds
[x] rlus
[x] hfss
[x] hfls
[x] cell area
[x] fraction ocean or land

can we simplify and only use the models that have outputs for heat flux and global mean temp for this first round?

We have enough CMIP6 results to emulate 6 ESM models,

"CanESM5"      "CESM2-WACCM"  "CESM2"        "CNRM-CM6-1"   "CNRM-ESM2-1"  "IPSL-CM6A-LR"

We have some data for other models but there isn't enough to do the temp + heat flux calibration. If we want to use the heat flux range method we could add another 4 models. 🤷‍♀
