Implement "split table" #10

It's still not perfect (for example, the header for the "main table" doesn't span all the way across the columns, due to using the multicols workaround), but close enough for now.

Another alternative was to try and do something like this answer: https://tex.stackexchange.com/a/64357/2575, but it required using the regular table/tabular environment...wasn't sure how to shoehorn that into tabularx.
