Airplane mode can't be disabled, even not by cleaning the /data directory.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Install 0.0.8 manually in (emptied) 0.0.7 partition.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
airplane mode disabled or at least having a workaround to disable it

What is your device, RootFS, Multiboot and kernel versions?
N900, 0.0.8, latest, .28.final1 (Sept 7th)

What was installation method?
I installed the manual way, remove all 0.0.7 file, unbzip, untar etc ...

Please provide any additional information below. Logs (logcat, dmesg) are
highly appreciated. (log collector available @

Even I faced same issue. Cannot disable airplane mode.
